Childers of Mare Nostrum Port-Cities discovering and learning their cities through visits, exercises and workshops.

The Tool Kit is used by teachers to plan and run activities with school children aged 11-14 discovering their port cities of the Mediterranean, raising awareness and appropriating heritage and history.

Schedule of workshops:

TYRE, 4 December 2011, in the « ancien collège évangélique », participating: 50 children from the “École publique de Tyr”.

RHODES, in the “hospice of St. Catherine”, participating: 40 children of the “2nd elementary school”, 4 November 2011, with the teacher Mrs Mantikou; 14 children of the “10th elementary school”, 10th November 2011, with the teacher Mrs Limberopoulou; 20 children of the “Rodion Pedia” private elementary school, 11th of November 2011, with the teacher Mrs Christodoulou; 21 children of the “1st elementary school”, 11th November 2011, with the teacher Mrs Makri. CARTHAGE, 15 and 16 December 2011, in the “college Erriath La Marsa Carthage” with the school director Jameleddine Ben Abdessamad.

MARSAXLOKK, 3-6 January 2012, in Marsaxlokk, participating 30 children of several schools living in Marsaxlokk.
