Beneficiaries

The project addresses different target groups who might beneficiate from the project and results. They will be involved during the action implementation through different initiatives and specific interventions:

• Students, and more in general youth: they will directly benefit from the action’s purposes in enhancing their knowledge of the territory cultural heritage, through a direct involvement in pilot projects and educational cultural paths.
• Craftsmen and in general the craft sector operators/experts: they will take advantage from a wider network along the Mediterranean basin to promote and valorise the cultural heritage in terms of awareness raising, communication and products, such as historic and new handicraft, as part of the preservation of the Mediterranean heritage. In the countries target of the action operate countless Institutes and NGOs in the cultural, tourist and craft sector. They are active in organizing cultural events and coordinating actions with the grassroots level. They operate in the territory for common actions involving both private and public sector and carrying on activities of research and sensitisation, evaluating them and their sustainability.
• Guides and tour operators: they will directly benefit from the training they receive to promote the area in a different prospect in a view of promoting tourism of quality.
