The University of Florence (Italy), through its Department of Restoration and Conservation of Architectural Properties/DiCR , has the role of Team Leader. It has two laboratories: one for the study of materials and the other for geomantic which can produce 3D surveys with laser scan, important to create virtual tours and 3D modelling useful for experts in Conservation and Archaeology.

The Medieval City of Rhodes (Greece) has a long-lasting experience in Cultural European Projects and cooperation in tourism and educational programs for students: they worked on the relationship between people and their awareness about living and working in a World Heritage City. The Medieval City of Rhodes is a member of OWHC/Organization of World Heritage Cities Network , an international non-profit non-governmental organization regrouping 233 cities all over the world (including Valletta and Syracuse). It aims at contributing to the implementation of the Convention concerning the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage and the International Charter for the Protection of Historic Cities; encouraging, on both regional and international levels, cooperation and the exchange of information and expertise among historic cities throughout the world in close collaboration with other organizations; sensitizing the populations to patrimonial values and their protection. |

The City of Tyre (Lebanon) has a good experience in Cultural Heritage Management, acquired through different cooperation project and especially through the implementation of the ongoing CHUD (Cultural Heritage and Urban Development) Project. The City of Tyre is a member of the United Cities and Local Governments (UCLG) Organization , active in 127 of the 191 UN members states in seven world regions, which includes individual cities and national associations of local governments. Over 1000 cities across 95 countries are direct members of UCLG. Moreover, it is part of the Tyre Municipality Union, which regroups 57 municipalities in the Southern Lebanon Region, with the aim of developing this area with economical, tourist and environmental purposes. |

The USJ/UNIVERSITY OF SAINT JOSEPH (Lebanon) cooperates with the UNIVERSITY OF BALAMAND/MAJAL Academic Laboratory for Construction and Reconstruction in Lebanon. Being two leader academic institutions in Lebanon, they both cooperated with international projects like: CogIT for cognitive mapping of Beirut, Strategic plan for the development of Tyre, Archimedes, Eco-Tourism master Plan, etc. US/Majal is a member of the Association Internationale des Universités (AIU); Association of Arab Universities (AAU); Réseau des Universités Euro-Méditerranéennes–Téthys; Fédération Internationale des Universités Catholiques (FIUC); Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF). |

PARALLELI (Italy) has a specific experience in the field of sustainable tourism and is one of the founders of RIM network, Réseau des Institutes de la Méditerranée. Among its activities, Paralleli develops projects about sustainable tourism and intercultural dialogue, enhancing the connections between the North-West of Italy (especially Piedmont region) and the Mediterranean, as the projects "Heritage Trails in Piedmont" and the intercultural guide "Mediterranean in Piedmont".
